【Purpose】

A demonstration against all war and discrimination.
Also to increase the visibility of LGBTQ+ communities.

 

【Format】

Standing or chair-based demo.
Join in whatever way suits you.

 

【Participation】

Holding signs, reading, listening, or simply being there—any participation is welcome.

 

【Venue】

Yodobashi Camera Multimedia Umeda
1-1 Ofukacho, Kita-ku, Osaka
(Direct access from Osaka/Umeda stations)

East side: lively, high visibility, optional calling out
West side: quiet, calm atmosphere

 

The east side of Yodobashi Camera (Hankyu Osaka-Umeda Station side, facing the Sugi Pharmacy) is a high-traffic and highly visible area.
If you prefer a more energetic atmosphere, please gather here. There will be no organized chants from the organizers, but participants who wish to do so are free to call out here.

 

The west side of Yodobashi Camera (LUCUA / Grand Front side) is relatively calm.
If you prefer a quieter environment, this area may be more suitable.


You may move between areas freely.

 

【Entry/Exit】

Free in and out anytime.

 

【Sound】

No organized chanting or loud sound equipment.

A small live performance may take place on the mini stage on the east side of Yodobashi Camera (not related to the demonstration).

【Community Guidelines】

To help create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space for everyone, please keep the following in mind:

 

1. No discrimination or harassment. Treat everyone with respect, regardless of gender, sexuality, race, nationality, language, religion, disability, age, background, or any other difference.

 

2. Don't make assumptions about someone's gender or sexuality. Respect the name and pronouns they use.

 

3. Don't make assumptions about someone's language, disability, or needs. If in doubt, ask respectfully.

 

4. Respect privacy. Be mindful when taking photos, videos, or posting on social media. A no-photography area will be available, but you may still appear in the background. If you prefer not to be photographed, please consider wearing a hat or mask.

 

5. Be mindful of pedestrian traffic.

 

6. Keep tactile paving clear. Do not stand on or place belongings on tactile paving. It is used by people with visual impairments.

 

7. No promotion of specific political parties or organizations. If you wish to distribute materials or display signs on behalf of a group, please speak with the organizers first.

 

8. Respect personal boundaries. Do not ask for personal information without consent, and remember that you are never required to share your own.

 

9. Please avoid discussing subjects such as suicide, sexual violence, or abuse in public areas, as these conversations may affect others nearby.

10. Take care of yourself. You are welcome to step away from the demonstration at any time. If you need support, please speak with an organizer.

 

11. Look out for one another. If a problem arises, ask others nearby for assistance and, if possible, document the situation. Let's help ensure that no one faces difficulties alone.

 

12. In all situations—whether in offline life or on social media posts—outing is prohibited, regardless of intent. Outing refers to the act of revealing a someone's sexual orientation to others without their consent.
